It is my pleasure to write you this mail. Though we have not met before now, the present circumstance warrants that I contact you.
I am the surviving eldest son of Late General Sani Abacha (former head of state and commander in chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces). Upon the death of my father in 1998, I was clamped into jail by the present government of Nigeria headed by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo (a retired General of the Nigeria Army and former military head of state too) but only released by providence through the supreme court of Nigeria late last year. One of the reasons that I was held was for the money ammased by father when he was alive. Upon his death, the government froze so many of my family accounts around the world running into several billions of dollars. One of the understanding which my family had with the government was to give up 90% of my family's monies to the government which I am not favourably disposed to but under duress. Since my release from the prison last year, the government is still holding tomy travel documents fearing that with the amount of money at the disposal of my family, I could topple the government of the day.
Because I cannot travel with members of my family, and I am not ready to give up my father's hard earned money, I am requesting your assistance in the investment of thirty seven million, nine hundred thousand dollars (US$37,900,000.00) held with a security company until the expiration of the life span of the present government and such time when it is auspicious for us to travel again.

I am favourably disposed to giving you 20% of the funds for your assistance. Due to the harrassment by the government and its security agents, I am advising that this transaction should be treated as highly confidential.
