[Weblog-Hoster]  Noch ein neuer (?) Weblog-Abieter: Blog Easy. Sieht relativ einfach aus und richtet sich wohl eher an Einsteiger. Immerhin gibt's eine Kommentarfunktion, und Weblog + Hosting sind kostenlos. Es gibt wohl irgendwelche zusätzlichen Features gegen Aufpreis.

It took awhile for me to settle on Zope, and much of the choice was because it was written in and uses Python. Before that I was using Apache and writing CGIs first in C++, then in Perl, then in Python. The primitive nature of that setup was actually helpful at first because it gave me a solid grounding in what was going on, but it also rapidly became tedious. Zope is definitely a higher-level way to do things and a better approach to an application server than the alternatives, which always feel like cobbled-together collections of existing tools.«

[Dosenfleisch iv]  Spamvrij.nl, a Dutch foundation fighting spam, has taken over the domain cyberangels.nl that was abandoned by a spammer because the "ground under their feet got too hot". After taking over they collected all the spam that went to the spamming domain. They have documented the results on the web. Interesting read showing what and how much mail a spammer might usually receive.
